Getting started
How do I install UndoGuard?
Install it from the Shopify App Store and open it from Apps in your Shopify admin. There is nothing else to set up.
When does history start?
Right after you install. UndoGuard first takes a snapshot of your catalog, then records every change made after that, whether by you, your staff, other apps or bulk editors.
Where do alerts go?
To your store’s contact email by default. You can change the address, or turn email alerts off, in the app’s Settings tab.
Undo
What can be undone?
Title, description, vendor, product type, handle, status, tags, template, online store visibility, and variant price, compare-at price, barcode, tax setting and “continue selling when out of stock”. Recorded stock levels can be restored on single-location stores.
What can’t be undone automatically?
Deleted products or variants, SKU and variant option renames, and stock on multi-location stores. These are listed in the change so you can fix them by hand.
Will undo overwrite newer edits?
No. If a field was changed again after the change you are undoing, UndoGuard leaves it alone and tells you.
Which plan includes undo?
Pro and Plus. On the Free plan you can see 7 days of history and get alerts, and fix things by hand.
Alerts
Which alerts are there?
A price set to $0, a price drop above your threshold (30% by default), a product unpublished or set to draft or archived, a variant or product deleted, and bulk edits touching many products within 10 minutes (25 by default).
Can I change the thresholds?
Yes. The price-drop percentage and the bulk-edit count are in the Settings tab.
Billing
How much is it?
Free: 7 days of history and alerts. Pro $9/month: 90 days and one-click undo. Plus $19/month: 1 year of history and one-click undo. Paid plans have a 7-day free trial and are billed by Shopify.
How do I cancel?
Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps and sales channels). Billing stops automatically.
Data
Does it read customer or order data?
No. Only product data. See the UndoGuard privacy policy for details.
What happens when I uninstall?
Access to your store ends immediately, and all your store’s data is deleted when Shopify sends its data-deletion request, normally 48 hours after uninstall.
